The tiling of the new Deity Kitchen is almost complete. We’ve run out of white but with some judicious patterning our tiler is being innovative in completing the new prasadam plate wash area. You can see that in the last two shots. This area will be where we store stainless steel recyclable plates and a dishwasher. The idea being we will no longer waste resources on paper plates which create a huge and somewhat expensive waste problem for us. We can save tens of thousands of dollars per year with this system. There will be no takeaways from the temple. The deity kitchen is next to but not connected in any way to the plate storage area, by the way.
Australians are increasing their giving. Nearly 14 million Aussies give an average of close to $600 per annum. We are broadly a generous nation.

Early to bed means early to rise. We join the morning program for the benefits it brings. Exceptional purification and boundless enthusiasm and energy. Especially when japa is before sunrise with no distractions. If I am to wake at 3:00 am in order to enjoy a solid rest I must take rest at 8:00 am. This is Ajita’s program. Kundalatā also.
